MAKINEN Finland Renews ISO 9001:2015 certification

Markus Makinen, Director, Operational Excellence

We are delighted to announce that MAKINEN Finland has passed the recertification audit for ISO9001:2015, the internationally recognized standard for Quality Management System.

The audit conducted by classification society DNV Business Assurance Finland verifies that MAKINEN continues to comply with the rules and regulations outlined in the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System. The renewal of the certificate also recognizes our commitment to providing high-quality products and services that meet the needs and requirements of our current and prospective stakeholders.

“The ISO 9001:2015 certificate sets the essential requirements for our company’s operations for a practical and effective quality management system. Essentially, the quality system sets us a framework for minimizing risks and maximizing opportunity”, says Markus Makinen, Director of Operational Excellence.

“MAKINEN once again demonstrated its ability to maintain and develop a high-quality level in its operations, emphasizing customer orientation in the global cruise ship interiors industry. A big thank you goes to the entire MAKINEN team, who, despite the challenges, set the bar high and achieved their goals with determination. The recertification is another example of what our incredible MAKINEN team can achieve. Our focus will remain on delivering the excellent quality we are known for, and we look forward to the continuous improvement initiatives and opportunities that come along with the recertification.”
