MAKINEN recently became the first organization in Finland to receive the DNV-certified sustainability management system certificate, CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Performance Ladder Standard 3rd Level Certificate. This is the first accredited sustainability certification issued to a company in the global shipbuilding industry.
We are also proud to announce that the 2020-2021 MAKINEN Sustainability Report is now available. MAKINEN openly and transparently reports on our progress, challenges, and learnings – to do better business and inspire meaningful change in our industry. Our 20-21 Sustainability Report is based on the GRI Sustainability Reporting Standards, and it has been prepared according to the core information requirements.
